This chair design was hand drawn and developed. I explored curvature using a method of steam bending to create the shapes seen in the chair. The fabrication of this chair exposed me to a lot of woodworking skills, including using a table saw, a joiner, a planer, and many hand tools to enhance the shape of the legs and rails. The seat is fabric to keep the focus on the curved rails instead of a potentially bulky presence.
